LOCAL | 120 People Arrested As Part Of MPD’s Operation Code Zero

Memphis Police reported that as part of Operation Code Zero, they made over 120 arrests on Tuesday, including 77 felons.

This follows last week’s announcement by MPD of a new crime operation, Operation Rolling Thunder, aimed at gang activity, and FBI Director Kash Patel’s classification of Memphis as the “homicide capital of America.”

Operation Code Zero, which consists of several sub-operations, is intended to target criminals one community at a time.

According to the Memphis Police Department, they have also recovered a stolen vehicle, towed four vehicles involved in drag racing and reckless driving, and confiscated illegal firearms and drugs, including fentanyl.
