One person was arrested Wednesday morning after an ambulance crashed into a hospital in DeSoto County.
According to a statement from the hospital, one employee suffered minor injuries, but no patients were hurt.
Although officials have not yet verified it, witnesses claim the ambulance was stolen, and a suspect is currently in jail.
In Baptist Desoto’s statement, they said, “We are aware of the vehicle collision at our hospital, and we are working with the Southaven Police Department to investigate the situation. We are grateful for the quick response from Southaven’s emergency response teams and will continue to work with them on this situation.”
