LOCAL | Southaven Woman Arrested In Connection To Shooting That Left One In Critical Condition

A woman was charged in connection to a shooting in Southaven on Thursday that left a victim critically injured.

34-year-old Courtnie Williams of Southaven, was accused of aggravated assault and domestic violence.

When Southaven Police arrived at the scene of the shooting on Clairborne Drive on May 1, they found no victims inside the house.

Memphis police located the victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and leg on Airways Boulevard and was taken to Regional One in critical condition.

Williams was apprehended close to Memphis International Airport and sent to the Shelby County Jail for extradition to Mississippi. No bond has been issued for her.
