In a statement released Friday by FedEx, the Memphis based company announced it will be closing facilities in Tennessee and Georgia. Employees in Cleveland, Tennessee and Dalton, Georgia were told those FedEX facilities would be closed. The hub and other FedEx operations in Memphis are not part of this activity. Chattanooga Tennessee facilities were told there will also be reductions and will remain “partially open”.
