Joshua Gunn, of Durham, North Carolina, has been appointed as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Memphis Chamber.
The national search came to an end after the role was given to Gunn, who will take up the position in early December.
Previously, Gunn was a former member of the National Board of Directors for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and recently served as the Director of the Office of Economic and Workforce Development for the City of Durham, NC.
Duncan Williams, Interim President & CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors said, “Joshua is a proven chief executive who has sat on both sides of the table. He knows how to run a major-market chamber, structure complex public-private partnerships, and close transformative deals.”
