The victims of a fatal car crash in Walls, Mississippi on Wednesday night were revealed, with one confirmed as a Mississippi officer.
Of all the victims, two were employees of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office, one pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased was identified as 32-year-oldj Tamenshia Ford of Horn Lake.
The collision happened on U.S. Highway 61 at Church Road which killed two others on top of the fallen officer. The two others pronounced dead were 37-year-old Latasha Dodson and 41-year-old Eddie Dodson Jr.
The other victims were injured and taken to the hospital to recover, one was seriously injured.
“Our fallen officer was a respected and beloved member of our team,” Sheriff Thomas E. Tuggle II said in a release.
Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the wreck.
