MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis athletics department has just been notified by the NCAA that its appeal regarding the six-game withholding period for men’s basketball student-athlete Nemanja Popovic has been denied by the NCAA Athletics and Eligibility Subcommittee, which is composed of representatives from the NCAA membership.
