A city official of Lakeland, Tennessee confirmed Culver’s will bring their popular buns to the Mid-South with a new location confirmed to be built starting next January.
Culver’s originated from Wisconsin, famous for their cheese curds and butterburgers.
According to Mayor Josh Roman, the location will be constructed in the Ashmont development off Canada Road.
“We have worked really hard to create an environment that attracts national names; it’s an exciting day for such a well liked brand to choose Lakeland,” Roman said.
Not only will it be the first Culver’s in the Memphis-area, it will be the first in the Mid-South region, with multiple chains already in operation out in Middle and East TN.
