You might not think tech and toddlers go hand in hand, but one Southaven grandmother owes her life to her three year-old grandson who used his iPad to call for help after she collapsed.
During the incident, Ky’ier Montgomery not only made phone calls to family members about his “Poopie” (his affectionate nickname for his grandmother), but he also stayed on the line with dispatch until first responders arrived.
Ky’ier’s mom, Jhakiya, is unsure where her son learned to call 911, but she is proud of his bravery and presence that could’ve made his grandmother’s situation worse had he not been there.
At this time, “Poopie” has since been released from the hospital and is doing well after her scare.
