An Atoka preteen living with Autism and ADHD is hoping to make the Mid-South proud, as he successfully made it into the top ten spot of his age group for “Stan Lee’s Super Kid Competition,” in which one lucky winner will don their own superhero identity and play a star role in a limited-edition comic book.
12 year-old Isaac McMorris has been a lifelong Marvel fan, stating his favorite character is Iron Man because, in his words, “…he wasn’t born with powers. He sort of built it over time with his suit, and that reminds me about how my brain works different than everyone else’s, and I like that part about myself.”
When he’s not watching media from his favorite franchise, Isaac can be found running a lemonade stand, where he donates a percentage of his proceeds to St. Jude and the Tipton County Animal Shelter.
Public voting for “Stan Lee’s Super Kid Competition” ends November 19th, with the winner being announced on December 17th.
