A 60-year-old man was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after shooting and killing his roommate on Sunday afternoon.
The shooting occurred on Brookline Road near Jackson Avenue and I-40.
Officers found one male victim who was pronounced deceased on the scene, which is when they arrested Darren Cranford.
Preliminary information indicated that the shooting happened as a result of an altercation between both roommates.
