It’s preseason media day across the NBA, and for the Memphis Grizzlies, it’s a chance for the fans to listen to returning and new players on the roster on their outlook of the offseason and their expectations for the upcoming season.
This media day in particular is a special one for Memphis, considering it’s the first one after the move to trade Jaren Jackson Jr. and the departure of Ja Morant. It’s the beginning of a new era for the Grizzlies.
During the offseason, it was all about their third pick in the NBA Draft, former Duke forward Cam Boozer. He will be joining the likes of a young core of Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Zach Edey, and others.
The Memphis Grizzlies’ first preseason game for the 2026-2027 season is against the Atlanta Hawks on October 5 in Atlanta, GA.
