The search of Daniel Dees on the Mississippi River has ended with the discovery of his body on Thursday morning. He had been missing since September 20.
This comes after a boat capsized on the river leaving 3 people missing initially.
The female victim was found alive, and the other male victim was found dead.
Dees’ body was seen by officers of the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office who then contacted Arkansas Game and Fish agents to retrieve him.
On Sunday, their aluminum boat crashed into a barge near Sans Souci Landing. There has been no confirmation as to what caused the wreck, but the investigation is ongoing.
