The new deputy district attorney and associate deputy district attorney have been announced by the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.
Lessie Rainey will take on the new role of Deputy DA, Monica Timmerman will become the Associate Deputy DA.
The former Deputy DA was Paul Hagermann, who now will become the judge in a Shelby Co. criminal court division, and the former Associate Deputy DA was Chris Lareau. He left the position to pursue other opportunities.
“Lessie and Monica are both experienced prosecutors who have demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to serving the people of Shelby County,” said District Attorney Steve Mulroy.
