Only one week after the news of the Town of Collierville parting ways with Town Administrator Molly Mehner, the mayor of Collierville has appointed an interim replacement.
Mayor Maureen Fraser appointed Deputy Town Administrator Katrina Amos-Atkins with the temporary position.
“The search for our next Town Administrator will begin in the coming days, including opportunities for residents and staff to share their input. Town services and operations continue without interruption,” said Fraser.
The role of administrator includes being in charge of 12 departments and over 600 employees.
Amos-Atkins has served as the deputy town administrator since the fall 2024.
No specific reason has been disclosed about why Collierville parted ways with former administrator Mehner.
