Germantown is out of power, as of Thursday afternoon. Blown transformers have left several residents and businesses in the dark, according to a social media post.
Temporary stop signs are in place at the following intersections:
- Farmington Road/Exeter Road
- Farmington Road/Kimbrough Road
- Farmington Road/Allenby Road
- Poplar Avenue/Exeter Road
The MLGW map indicated around 11:30am that 290 people were affected. It has been confirmed by the MLGW that they are in the process of getting the power back online, but that it could take over an hour to complete.
