Yesterday, the Bluff City welcomed movie star and restaurateur Mark Wahlberg as he was present for the relaunch of his Wahlburgers Wild restaurant inside the Bass Pro Pyramid.
While Wahlberg and his brothers own nearly 34 Walhburgers restaurants, Wahlburgers Wild is the only one of its kind, as it offers unique menu items relevant to the region such as bison burgers and wild boar bratwurst.
“You know, families come here, spend six to eight hours a day kind of walking around and exploring,” Wahlberg said. “Our restaurant is all about family experience and sharing our family experience with other families. So it makes complete sense.”
Mark and his brother Paul Wahlberg announced that they will also be taking over operations of all the Pyramid’s dining outlets, including the Lookout restaurant on the 28th floor and the Big Cypress Lodge.
