Osceola, Arkansas’ Police Chief is being investigated by the City of Osceola for reportedly slapping a man in a wheelchair in a video that was shared on social media.
Bobby Ephlin was just recently named the new Chief of Police on March 30.
According to the city, Mayor Joe Harris Jr. is requesting that a third party conduct an investigation into the situation.
“The City has initiated the formal review process by an outside agency to ensure all the facts are collected and evaluated in a fair, transparent and accountable manner,” the city said in a statement.
