U.S. Attorney Ryan Rabel of the Northern District of Texas has accused Memphis rapper Lontrell Williams Jr. aka Pooh Shiesty, his father, and seven other people with kidnapping and robbing victims at a Dallas music studio.
According to Rabel, the complaint claims that three individuals in the music industry went to Dallas on January 10 for a business meeting.
After those three men entered the recording studio, Lontrell Williams Jr. and eight other co-conspirators allegedly carried out a coordinated armed takeover.
Rabel said the remaining armed suspects stole cash, jewelry, Rolex watches, and other expensive items from the other victims.
FBI officers executed a search warrant at a Cordova residence connected to rapper Pooh Shiesty early on Wednesday.
