All charges against a woman involved in a fatal car accident involving a six-year-old boy in Frayser have been dropped less than a week after she was taken into custody.
After striking the child with her vehicle last Thursday, Kenyunte W. Goss was charged with driving while her license was suspended, revoked, or cancelled and financial responsibility.
The boy was playing basketball and was hit after dropping and kicking the ball onto the street, according to surveillance footage.
After being sent to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in critical condition, the boy was declared dead.
The misdemeanor charges were dropped during a hearing on Monday, according to court documents.
