According to a family member, a father and daughter were meeting up with someone to purchase a PlayStation 5 they found on Facebook Marketplace when they were shot and killed on a gravel road in Mississippi on Sunday.
The victims were found when deputies arrived to River Road on the outskirts of Sardis, according to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office.
Both 42-year-old Victor Gonzalez and 19-year-old Serenity Gonzalez appeared to have died from gunshot wounds when the authorities arrived.
Gonzalez’s son believes it was a set-up, but no motive was provided. The investigation is still ongoing.
