According to the Memphis Police, the officer who got shot in the face on Thursday was discharged from the hospital on Sunday.
Officer Oscar Torres-Molina was released from the hospital following days of surgeries and recovery.
40-year-old suspect Danell Jarvis Maxwell is still at large and is regarded as dangerous and armed.
Maxwell was last seen wearing all black clothing and a reflective vest.
Around 8 p.m. on February 26, while conducting a traffic stop at Aloha Avenue and South Perkins, Officer Torres-Molina was shot by Maxwell.
Any tip that leads to Danell Jarvis Maxwell’s arrest could result in a cash reward, according to Memphis Police.
