After being evicted from a Whitehaven home on Wednesday night, police are searching for a woman who they say left behind three dead snakes, four dead cats, and ten dead kittens.
When a Shelby County eviction officer found dead snakes in the front yard and dead kittens in a portable deep freezer while evicting the renter, MPD and MAS were sent to Lochinvar Drive for an animal cruelty case.
A black Draco pistol full-auto AK1 4.5mm BB gun was also discovered at the residence, according to MPD.
A warrant has been issued for Sarai Rue, 33, the registered leaseholder. She is facing 17 counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals.
