On Wednesday, City Solid Waste collection operations will continue to be suspended .Team Waste, the city’s third-party collection provider, will also continue to be suspended and follow the same timetable as City Solid Waste crews.
Although trash collections were initially scheduled to begin on Wednesday, they were unable to properly resume garbage and recycling collection at this time due to road conditions.
The city reports that although some roads have improved, ice is still present on curbs, alleyways, and other places where collection workers must pull over and get out of cars and service carts.
Services will start up again on Thursday if things get better and staff can work safely. If not, services will continue on the usual collection schedule whenever it is safe to do so, according to the city.
