The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that the winter storm caused 23 weather-related deaths in Tennessee.
Six of them took place in Shelby County, and one in Fayette.

- One fatality in Cheatham
- Three fatalities in Davidson
- One fatality in Dyer
- One fatality in Fayette
- Two fatalities in Hardin
- One fatality in Haywood
- Two fatalities in Henderson
- Two fatalities Hickman
- Two fatalities in Knox
- Two fatalities in Obion
- Six fatalities in Shelby
Five more deaths were confirmed in Mississippi on Saturday, bringing the state’s total number of fatalities to 21.
