A 15-year-old child with autism went missing on Friday morning while the Mid-South was still recovering from a winter storm, and police are searching for him.
Dawayne Darden left his Briarcrest Lane house unsupervised, and the Memphis Police Department reported on Friday morning that he hadn’t been seen for at least ten hours. According to reports, the teenage boy has been diagnosed with autism.
The teenage boy is described as having brown eyes and black hair, standing five feet three inches tall, and weighing 130 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in black slacks, a blue shirt, spectacles, and a blue/green blanket.
