According to a press statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, a Memphis man was found guilty on Friday of four armed robberies of USPS mail carriers in 2023 and 2024.
The 25-year-old Marshun Lewis was found guilty on several crimes, including four counts of robbery and four counts of displaying a handgun.
According to Dunavant’s office, postal inspectors served a search warrant at Lewis’ residence and found stolen goods after detectives received video of his car at the location of the crimes.
He was found to have stolen more than $940,000 in money orders and cheques.
Lewis is scheduled to be sentenced on April 10 and faces a required statutory minimum sentence of 28 years in federal prison.
