Authorities stated that a Memphis firefighter was suspended following his arrest for drunk driving and reckless driving in DeSoto County.
Cedric Wade was taken into custody early on Monday in Olive Branch and placed into the county jail, according to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO). He has since bonded out.
Wade’s employment as a fireman was confirmed by the Memphis Fire Department, which also stated that he was suspended from the department until an investigation could be finished.
