The American Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday that five Memphis football players were named First-Team All-American Conference.
William Whitlow Jr., a defensive lineman, was selected to the first team for the second year in a row. It also featured offensive lineman Travis Burke, linebacker Sam Brumfield, and receiver Cortez Braham Jr.
Sutton Smith was picked to the first team as a return specialist and the third team as a running back.
Memphis has one bowl game left to play in their schedule, the bowl game and the opponent is scheduled to be announced this Sunday, December 7th.
