Jeremiah Wilkinson scored 22 points to lead six players in double figures and help Georgia to a 120-81 win over Morehead State on Sunday at Athens, Ga.
The Bulldogs have surpassed 100 points in two of their three games and are averaging 106 points in rolling to a 3-0 start. It was the sixth-most points scored by a Georgia team.
Georgia extended its home winning streak against nonconference opponents to 30 games. The Bulldogs are 44-13 at home under coach Mike White, who is in his fourth season.
Wilkinson was 8 of 12 from the floor, including a pair of early 3-pointers, and was 4 of 4 from the free-throw line. The Bulldogs shot 56.0% from the floor (42 of 75) and connected on a season-high 17 3-pointers.
Georgia also got 15 points from true freshman Jake Wilkins, 14 points apiece from Blue Cain and Kanon Catchings, 13 points from Justin Bailey, 11 from Marcus Millender and 10 from Kareem Stagg. Millender and Jordan Ross each had five assists.
Morehead State (1-2) was led by George Marshall, who followed his career-best 26-point effort against Wake Forest by scoring 17. The Eagles also got 13 points and nine rebounds from Jon Carroll and 10 points and eight rebounds from Clayton Parker.
The Bulldogs, who missed their first 17 3-pointers on Wednesday, came out hot from the perimeter. Four of their first six baskets came from distance, two of them from Catchings, and Georgia built a quick 11-point lead at 16-5.
Morehead State twice got as close as five points, but Georgia used a 14-2 run late in the half and took a 64-42 lead into intermission. The Bulldogs shot 55.3% from the field in the first half and scored 14 points off 11 Morehead turnovers.
