A bartender in Memphis reported that after he rear-ended a car on a Midtown street, a group of men assaulted him and broke his skull.
The victim, who requested to stay unidentified, stated that the collision occurred at Idlewild and Union on October 18.
He claimed that as he got out of his car to exchange insurance information while it was raining, he was attacked and knocked unconscious.
Police were informed by a witness that at least six men continuously kicked and punched the victim before driving off in a white car.
The suspects are still missing and the victim is still in recovery.
