Tony Allen, a former Memphis Grizzlies star, was detained in Poinsett County, Arkansas, on drug-related charges.
Following a traffic stop on Interstate 555 on Wednesday afternoon, Allen was arrested.
He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a man named William Hatton, according to a sheriff.
Both Allen and Hatton were charged with possessing less than two grams of meth or cocaine and less than four grams of marijuana. They were taken to the Poinsett County Detention Center.
This comes after Allen entered a guilty plea to charges of wire fraud and conspiracy to conduct healthcare fraud in 2023. He was also detained in 2021 on allegations of domestic abuse.
