According to the US Marshals Service, a child who had been missing for almost two weeks was located by members of the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF).
On October 12, family members filed a missing person’s report. The child was returned to their legal guardian after being found on Monday.
According to the US Marshals Service, since the task force started operating on October 1, this child was the 84th to be safely discovered by the Memphis Safe Task Force.
The Marshals reported that there were 143 missing children in Shelby County at the time of its formation. Several of the children were found out of state, according to the authorities.
