According to a U.S. Marshals press release, the Memphis Safe Task Force captured a man early Thursday morning after he led them on a 20-minute car pursuit near South Memphis reaching speeds of over 100 mph
Demarious Moore, was charged with felony evading and two counts of kidnapping.
Marshals said that two female passengers in Moore’s car were forced to remain insidethe car during the pursuit, but one of the women managed to make it out of the moving car.
Moore was captured by task force agents and transported to a nearby detention center when the pursuit came to a close near South Lauderdale Street.
