LOCAL | Memphis’ 2008 Team To Be Honored During St. Jude Tip Off Classic vs. Calipari-Led Arkansas

Before the Memphis Tigers’ basketball preseason game against Arkansas on October 27 at the FedExForum, Razorbacks coach John Calipari and many members of Memphis’ 07–08 team will be celebrated for the school’s third Final Four appearance, more than 17 years later.

Many of Calipari’s former players from his nine seasons with the Tigers will be honored at the event, which is a part of the 2025 Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic, benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Memphis’ women’s basketball team will face Vanderbilt first at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Tigers’ men’s basketball team’s game against Arkansas at 8 p.m. Both preseason games will be televised on ESPNU and on the radio on Newstalk 98.9 FM.
