Forty people were arrested in Memphis on Wednesday, including a Tren de Aragua terrorist, according to Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Bondi stated in a social media post Thursday morning that additional arrests included an arrest for assault on a federal officer, a man wanted for child rape, and a felon in possession of a firearm.
She confirmed the Memphis Safe Task Force has thus far made 93 arrests and confiscated 28 illegal firearms in the city.
In the midst of a government effort to combat violence in Memphis, Bondi, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller arrived in Memphis on Wednesday to address law enforcement officials.
Today, I was proud to join @AGPamBondi and @StephenM at the Memphis Safe Task Force.
