Many colleges and universities in the state will forgo their application fees for the month of September, according to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
To get students interested about the application process, over 40 Tennessee colleges and institutions are taking part in Tennessee College Application and Exploration Month.
The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee State University in Nashville, Rhodes College in Memphis, and the University of Memphis are all on the list.
