Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist, was shot and killed on Wednesday at a Utah Valley University event, according to investigators.
According to a statement from UVU, Kirk, 31, was shot at least once shortly after noon local time.
According to Turning Point’s website, he appeared visiting Utah Valley University for the first stop on their “American Comeback Tour.” Kirk was sat at his “prove me wrong table” during the event, where he engages in argument with those who disagree with him.
He was pronounced dead by President Trump only a few hours after the shooting.
