Late Sunday night, two gunmen opened fire on a house in Hickory Hill, striking four children, according to the police.
Officers were called to Rosewind Circle off East Raines Road shortly before 10 p.m. for a shooting.
When they got there, they discovered that four kids—three girls and one boy—had been shot. All four were sent to the hospital for treatment, according to the police.
After the shooting, police reported that a 15-year-old boy was “extremely critical” and that a 15-year-old girl’s condition had been upgraded to “stable.”
According to MPD, the two additional shooting victims, two girls, ages three and six, were anticipated to survive.
