Arkansas Razorbacks Athletic Director, Hunter Yurachek said that the Arkansas game at home versus Memphis was being pushed back to 2030. The announcement was confirmed by a representative at the U of M and came after a schedule change in the SEC, the Hawgs conference.
The conference will require 9 conference games instead of 8 and the game against Memphis was the non-conference game Arkansas chose to move. Games versus North Alabama and Tulsa remain on the Razorbacks schedule.
Ed Scott, Director of Athletics at the University of Memphis said that the Tigers plan to play the 3 scheduled games against Arkansas. The first of the 3 is at Simmons Bank – Liberty Stadium on September 20th. The second game would have been next year at Arkansas and the third game was to be played in 2028.
With next years game being pushed out to 2030, Memphis now has an opening to fill.
