According to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office, a man who admitted his involvement in a deadly shooting in May was granted a $10 million bond.
Michael Chalmers was charged of felony possession of a handgun, aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, and first degree murder.
The Memphis Police Department discovered Keyshun Thomas with a gunshot wound at a gas station on Range Line Road on May 18. After being transported to a nearby hospital, he passed away from his wounds.
Three men robbed the victims at gunpoint, and the victims informed MPD they were involved in a shootout. During the incident, gunshots struck Thomas.
