According to Memphis police, a man was arrested after initiating a police pursuit that resulted in three collisions in Midtown, North Memphis, and Nutbush.
Officers saw a Honda Civic at 11:43 a.m. that fit the description of the suspect’s car, which had been used in several previous break-ins in the North Memphis neighborhood of Jackson Avenue and Warford Street.
According to the police, they started a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop, so they pursued them.
The suspect was involved in two wrecks during the pursuit, one at Macon and Highland and one at Summer and Hollywood, according to MPD.
The driver was taken into custody at the scene.
