In the 2025 Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic, a preseason charity exhibition doubleheader, Memphis’ men’s basketball team will play Arkansas, and Memphis’ women’s basketball team will play Vanderbilt. All proceeds from the game will go to St. Jude, the nonprofit organization announced on September 2.
John Calipari, the head coach of Arkansas, will return to FedExForum for the first time this year to play his former team.
From 2000 to 2009, he served as coach of the Memphis Tigers, who advanced to the 2008 NCAA Championship game before losing to Kansas.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the FedExForum box office or online at Ticketmaster.com starting at noon on Tuesday, September 9.
