U.S. Marshals announced Thursday morning that they detained an 18-year-old Memphis murder suspect in Atlanta, Georgia.
The indictment against Trenton Dillon Harris is first-degree murder.
Detectives from the Shelby-County Sheriff’s Office reported that they opened an investigation on August 22 after finding the body of an 18-year-old who had been shot inside a car.
According to detectives, the incident happened in Cordova in the 1800 block of Berryhill Road.
To assist in locating Harris, the Memphis-based U.S. Marshals Service Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force was sent in.
