Anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest of the individual responsible for the death of University of Mississippi freshman football player Corey Adams will receive $21,000 from CrimeStoppers.
On July 19, the 18-year-old New Orleans defensive end passed away. Adams was shot by gunmen as he was leaving a pool party at a house in Cordova.
Detectives discovered more than 40 shot casings from a rifle and a pistol at the location in Fern Glade Cove, and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said that over 100 people attended the party.
Adams was discovered by deputies in a vehicle near the intersection of Walnut Grove and Forest Hill-Irene.
He was one of five people shot, he was the only one that died.
