The Grizzlies will play the Orlando Magic in Berlin on January 15th, the NBA confirmed on Wednesday. On January 18, the two teams will play again in London.
However, that means the Grizzlies will not play their traditional Martin Luther King Jr. Day game in Memphis this season due to the NBA’s international schedule, and Desmond Bane will not play against Memphis in the FedEx Forum until the 2026-2027 season.
With the exception of 2002 and 2017, the franchise has hosted an MLK NBA game each year since the Grizzlies moved to Memphis.
The Grizzlies will play their first game abroad since 2007.
REPORT: The Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies will play in Berlin on Jan. 15 & in London on Jan. 18 this upcoming season.
The NBA will also play regular season games in Manchester and Paris in 2027, and in Berlin and Paris in 2028.
