MLGW says that xAI has paid it’s bill on time consistently and the recent cut-off notice was the result of an internal billing error. The cut-off notice claimed xAI owed $1million dollars. The companies bill due July 3rd was $983,367.
The parent company of xAI is being consistently billed $300,00- $400,000 a month for electricity. The water portion of the bill is typically $800 -$1200 a month.
MLGW says their internal billing errors will be fixed. Katie Miller, spokesperson for xAI says they are 100% current on their bill.
xAI is projected to be paying an average of $12 million a year in taxes to the city and $14 million to the county.
