Ozzy Osbourne, 76-year-old iconic rock star from Black Sabbath front man has passed away.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning” Osbourne’s family said in a statement on Tuesday, July 22.
Born John Michael Osbourne on December 3, 1948, in Birmingham, England, Osbourne became well-known as the lead singer of Black Sabbath, a heavy metal band that was founded in 1968 with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.
Black Sabbath was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
