A recycling plant caught fire late Monday night, igniting fires in the staff parking area of the Hershey Factory.
A little after 11 p.m., the Memphis Fire Department reports that they went to a fire incident at 975 Kansas Street, which is the location of Plastic Products Manufacturing.
Heavy fire was pouring from the inside of the building’s southeast back corner, close to the baler machine, according to the fire crews when they arrived.
The fire department reported that there was $390,000 in content loss and nearly $500,000 in vehicle and structural damage.
No injuries, however, were reported.
