After being arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting his fiancée in late May, Memphis Tigers guard Sincere Parker appeared in court for the first time this morning.
Parker was accused of vandalism and aggravated assault. He was taken into Shelby County Jail on Saturday after an arrest warrant was filed on Friday.
Parker pleaded not guilty together with Arthur Horne, his Memphis-based lawyer.
Judge Greg Gilbert of the Shelby County General Sessions Criminal Court also verified that, because Parker is a first-time offender, his bond was reduced from the initial $120,000 to $75,000.
After spending the previous season at McNeese State, the 2023–24 and 2022–23 seasons at Saint Louis, and the 2021–22 and 2020–21 seasons at Moberly Area Community College in Missouri, Parker transferred to Memphis this offseason.
